Dubai Completes World’s First Commercial Air Taxi Vertiport!

1- Dubai has announced the completion of the world’s first commercial air taxi vertiport near Dubai International Airport, after reaching technical completion and readiness to handle electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft.

Dubai has completed the world’s first commercial vertiport as part of its plan to launch air taxi services, marking a key infrastructure milestone for this emerging transport sector.

 

The facility is located near Dubai International Airport. It is a four-storey structure that is now technically ready to receive electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft.

  • Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority, in partnership with Skyports Infrastructure, unveiled the new facility on Thursday.
