Universal Pictures has announced that Jennifer Aniston and Peter Dinklage will star in Naughty, a holiday comedy directed by Olivia Wilde, set for theatrical release on Nov. 5, 2027.
Details:
- The premise: Aniston plays Mallory, locked in a custody battle with her ex over her son. Her last hope is to track down Santa Claus, played by Dinklage, and get him to testify at the divorce hearing.
- Behind the camera: Wilde directs from a spec script by Jimmy Warden, who wrote Cocaine Bear. It follows her most recent film, A24’s The Invite.
- A crowded date: Naughty opens opposite Warner Bros.’ animated musical Margie Claus, with Melissa McCarthy voicing Santa’s wife.
- Holiday form: Aniston was part of the 2016 ensemble Office Christmas Party, Dinklage had a memorable turn in 2003’s Elf, and Wilde appeared in 2015’s Love the Coopers.
