Key Points

  1. S-GAME's Phantom Blade Zero launched on GeForce NOW on day one, Nvidia said.
  2. Nine more titles join the cloud library this week, plus mod support for two CD Projekt games.
  3. A World of Warcraft: Forever access reward arrives for members at the Nov. 4 launch.

The latest:

S-GAME’s kungfupunk action game Phantom Blade Zero began streaming on GeForce NOW the same week it released on Steam, Nvidia said in its weekly GFN Thursday post. The service is adding nine other titles over the week, and Nvidia said Ultimate members get GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud across PCs, Macs, handhelds, phones, browsers and compatible TVs.

Details:

  • The game: Phantom Blade Zero follows a warrior named Soul, framed for his master’s murder and given 66 days to expose a conspiracy threatening the martial world, according to Nvidia. The title runs on Unreal Engine 5 and blends wuxia storytelling with cinematic action, the company said.
  • The combat: Nvidia said the game offers more than 30 primary weapons and over 20 Phantom Edges, with evasions, deflections and counterattacks chained into continuous combat. The setting mixes traditional Chinese martial arts with mechanical prosthetics, industrial ruins and rock music.
  • The WoW reward: Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft: Forever arrives on GeForce NOW on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 3 p.m. PT, Nvidia said. A reward will give eligible members access from launch until Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
  • The conditions: The reward spans all membership tiers but is limited to new WoW users without an existing subscription, offered while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis, according to Nvidia. Members redeem through the Account Portal after signing in once the offer goes live.
  • What’s in Forever: Nvidia described the Blizzard release as a reimagining of Azeroth with new and expanded zones, gameplay enhancements and upgraded graphics. Neither a price nor a list of the specific zones was disclosed in the announcement.
  • Mod support: Mod.io support is now available directly in game for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered, Nvidia said, giving players new ways to alter Night City and the Continent without separate downloads.
  • The lineup: This week’s additions include new Steam releases ATMOSFAR, Hunting Simulator 3 and Queen’s Domain, alongside Dimraeth, Dressmaker and The Seance of Blake Manor on Steam, plus Halloween and Hell Let Loose: Vietnam from the Epic Games Store.
  • The caveat: Nvidia said the dates it listed reflect store release dates rather than cloud availability, with titles onboarded after release and added throughout the week. The company did not commit to specific arrival times for individual announced games.
  • India pricing: Four-month Performance and Ultimate memberships become available for sign-up in India starting the day after the announcement, Nvidia said, pointing users to the GeForce NOW website for details. No pricing figures were given in the post.
  • The trial path: Nvidia is also promoting day passes for Performance and Ultimate tiers, with the cost applicable toward a first monthly membership upgrade.

Between the lines:

The WoW reward is aimed squarely at players who do not already subscribe, and it is capped by supply and ordered first-come, first-served — a structure built to convert cloud-gaming members into Blizzard subscribers during a single launch week rather than to reward existing ones.

What’s next

World of Warcraft: Forever goes live on GeForce NOW on Nov. 4 at 3 p.m. PT, with the access reward window closing Nov. 11 at 11:59 p.m. PT. India’s four-month membership options open for sign-up on Oct. 30.
