Zendaya closed out the Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour at the film’s Los Angeles premiere in a black satin Ashi Studio corset with a sweeping architectural train — the final look in a run she has treated as a personal runway.

- The design: Longtime stylist Law Roach told Variety the gown was “an abstract way to present the spider,” describing it as a metamorphosis, paired with Boucheron jewelry.
- An earlier look: Roach singled out the archival spiderweb dress from John Galliano’s 1997 “Circus” collection that Zendaya wore at the London premiere in June.
- The $34 T-shirt: Last month Zendaya wore a vintage Spider-Man T-shirt to a Paris fan event; Roach found it on eBay for $34.99 and posted the listing with the caption “Style doesn’t always have to cost a fortune.”
